Lost 1Password records when updating from v6.8.8 to v7.3

Safari 13 today motivated me to upgrade from 1Password v6.8.8 (app store) to v7.3.2 (subscription). When I did that, I opened my new 1Password and lost my last 3 months of new/modified password records, over 20 passwords. I reverted back to 6.8.8. Any suggestions on how to upgrade and not lose any information?
