1password crashes/closes when trying to fill credentials in PWA

Hi,

I just installed the following website https://web.timingapp.com as a Progressive Web App (Share > Add to home screen).

When I launch the app and click on the "Passwords" button above the keyboard, 1password is launched and I can see briefly the touchid request but it closes automatically and returns back to the login screen.

Any idea to resolve that?

Thanks

  • Hi @mickael

Could you please let me know:

    • The version of 1Password you have installed
    • The version of iOS you're using
    • Which device model this is happening on

I was unable to reproduce the issue on my device, though I'm using an iPhone XS so I can't test with Touch ID specifically.

Thank you for those details, @mickael. I was able to have our QA team test this with a variety of devices and versions. At this point we're thinking it is an issue with iOS 12, and none of the iOS 13 devices we tested exhibited the problem. We're in the process of filing an issue with the development team to further investigate. In the mean time, you may want to consider upgrading to iOS 13, as I believe that would solve the issue.

    Thanks!

So I updated to iOS 13 and things are working correctly as you suggested. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the update @mickael! Glad to hear that helped.
