iOS 1 Password 7.4.1 doesn't sync with MacOS 1Password 7.3.2
What systems do I use:
- iPhone: iOS 13.1 with 1password 7.4.1
- Mac: MacOS Catalina with 1password 7.3.2
- iPad: iPadOS 13.1. with 1password 7.4.1
What sync type do I use:
- WLAN server
What is the problem?
1) iPhone
I try to sync 1password on my iPhone with 1password in my Mac,
On the Mac the wlan server was configured, the secure code is known
the firewall allows incoming and outgoing traffic from 1password
When I'm trying to set up the wlan server on the iPhone, the mac will be found
hitting "sync now" returns an error message called "OnePasswordCore.WSError-Fehler 1."
My getting more detailed information i get = Error Domain=OnePasswortCore.WSError Code=1 "(null)"
In the end I'm not able to set up the wlan server sync.
2) iPad
here the situation is pretty different.
Sync is running and saying everything is sync perfectly. But in reality nothing is sync.
Do you have similar experience.
What can I do to get it work again.

Hi @MikeRad
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty you're having with syncing via the WLAN server. WLAN sync is the most technically complex option that we offer, and there are a number of variables that factor into it that are beyond our control (such as your home network). You may want to consider switching to a different sync option that has less challenges. You can read about the options here:
Sync your 1Password data
If you would like to try to troubleshoot the WLAN Server we have a guide available with all of the troubleshooting tips we've amassed over the years. You can find that guide here:
If you're having trouble using the WLAN server
Please let me know how it turns out.

Hi Ben,
Thank you very much for your reply.
The wlan sync just worked fine before I switched to iOS 13.1.
I can't reconcile another synchronization option with my understanding of security

Have you read about our security model? The security of your data does not rely on the sync method you choose. Regardless of which option you choose your data is encrypted by your Master Password, which is only known by you (unless you share it):
About the 1Password security model

WLAN sync is working just fine here with iOS 13.1, so it isn't a general issue of WLAN sync not working on iOS 13.1.

Hi Ben,
thank for your comment.
I don't agree. Knowing that iCloud, dropbox and other cloud storage providers offer backdoors to grab your files is part of my security concern. Your implemented security mechanism might be good enough as long as no bug appears and brute-force isn't currently a threat based on the chosen password length. Having my keyfile in someone else possession waiting for a bug to get is creaked concerns me. WLAN server is one option I can control.Regarding the sync problem.
Turns out that 13.1.1 helped somehow. 1Password is syncing between Mac and iPhone although the iPhone application is saying that no sync took place.0 -
I'm glad to hear updating iOS helped, though I suspect that is more of a correlation than causation. The situation with the WLAN sync reporting 'never synced' is a known issue we plan to have fixed up in a future update.

A strong Master Password protects you, even in such a scenario. Additionally if you sync via 1Password.com the Secret Key provides an additional layer of protection against such an attack.

Same problem here:
iPhone: iOS 13.1.2 with 1password 7.4.1
Mac: MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6 with 1password 7.3.2
Sync type: WLAN serverAll seems fine, WLAN Server is turned on, iOS device can see it, I can start sync but it does nothing.
It always says "Never sync".I have tried troubleshooting guide but it does not fix.
Any suggestion?

That's sounds like a different issue. Right now there is a bug where the 'last synced' display doesn't update. The data still syncs, but the display won't update, regardless of what you do. We hope to have that fixed up in a future update. Could you please confirm if sync is actually happening, despite the display?

Oh ok... now that I have replied here it has worked ... and it has updated the last sync info.
I don't know if yesterday was not syincing... I was supposing not... but in this moment data is aligned on both ios and mac.

I'm glad to hear it seems to be working. Please let us know if that changes.

I'm getting a "onepasswordcore.wserror error 1" message when attempting to sync via wlan on my iOS devices. 1Password (ver 6.8.9) on MacOS (ver 10.14.6), and iOS 13.2.3. 1Password (ver 7.4.4). This sync failer has occurred in the last two weeks. I've sent an Email to support Nov 14 but have not heard back.

I apologize for the delay. We're working as quickly as we can to get through our emails. I see we've received your message and it has been routed to the appropriate folks. We'll be in touch as soon as we can. In the meantime you may want to consider trying a more reliable sync option.
