"Would you like to import your passwords into 1Password X?"

Hi there.

The message in the Title ("Would you like to import your passwords into 1Password X?") is what I see when I click on the bell over the Settings gear in my Chrome browser.
What does it mean? What it's being asked to copy particularly if all my data is already stored with 1Password? What will I get by clicking 'Import'?

Thank you.

Hey @Mentbase! Good question. 1Password X is asking if you'd like to import your usernames and passwords from Chrome's built in password manager. In short, it'll walk you through importing your data from Chrome, although it has to be exported first since there isn't an API to automatically import passwords from Chrome via a browser extension. To get a look at the process without actually clicking import, you can check out this article. If you don't have any passwords in Chrome that you want imported, then you can press the x button to dismiss the notification.
