Does free trial version sync to iOS apps?

I used 1Password 6 in the past. But I'm currently using the trial version of 1Password 7 on my iMac. It does not sync with the 1Password apps on my iPhone. Is it supposed to be able to? Will it only sync after I've paid for an actual subscription? Or is there something I'm doing wrong?

Also, does syncing to iOS apps only work now with subscriptions? Or is there any way to make that work with a license version?

Thanks.

@billpeet: There is no "free trial version" of 1Password. Licenses are available but not recommended, since then you'd need to purchase each version separately, and manage all of that and sync yourself. You can, however, get a free trial of a 1Password membership, and that includes all of the apps and updates along with seamless sync, and no sync configuration or license management -- all of that is just built in. But in order for your 1Password membership account to sync your data, you will have to put it in your account, not in Dropbox, etc.

Thanks for replying, Brenty. From your post, I realized I had to log into my 1Password 7 membership account on my iOS app, rather than from Dropbox. Got it now. Thanks.

Aha! Indeed, if you've already got a 1Password membership, setting up the app with your account on each device will be all you need. I can't take any credit for that, as you did that all on your own. But if you have any other questions we're here for you. Cheers! :)
