Fingerprint unlock option causes Samsung Note 9 to Shut down

When I select the Fingerprint unlock option under settings, it causes my phone to shut down. Is this a known issue?

    Hi @Joe_from_NY, that's not an error that I've come across before.

    I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Android device, so that I can take a closer look at what might be happening here. To do this follow the instructions linked below:

    Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+android@agilebits.com.

    Thank you. I went to the Samsung Store and they replaced some hardware components and the issue was resolved.
