setting up 1password on new ipad

Hi, I'm trying to set up 1password for my new ipad pro, and it wants me to scan a code that I can't find anywhere on both my iphone and my macbook. I have a standalone license. Thanks.

Sync Type: Not Provided

    Hi @adrian12345

    I'm sorry for the confusion caused. If you have a license you wouldn't have a 1Password account, and thus wouldn't have a code to scan. Instead, from the welcome screen, scroll down and select the sync option your are currently using to sync your 1Password data between your iPhone and MacBook.

    Please let me know how that turns out.

    Hi, it's demanding a secret:

    "Sync problem"
    "Please enter the secret show on your computer"

    I typically sync via WLAN

    Aaaand I figured it out. For some reason it wanted to sync via icloud.
