Mask Fields

Is there anyway to "mask" a field without using the "Password" field? I would like this to be an option unless I don't know how to make this happen currently. Thanks.

    At present only password fields are/can be masked. That said, we may consider expanding that in the future. Thanks!

    That’s what I thought. Password fields can be regenerated without catching it. Having a Masked text field would solve this issue.

    I see. Thanks for the feedback @aplnub. Hopefully we can come up with a solution like that in the future. In the mean time if you find this happening you may want to try the item history feature:

    View and restore previous versions of items
