import 1Password 6 vault to family account?

I have a 1Password 7 subscription and am considering upgrading to a family account. My wife uses 1Password 6. If I make the upgrade and invite her as a family member, will she be able to import her 1Password 6 vault as a new private vault under 1Password 7 Families? What would be the steps?

    Yes; that would work. Please have her install 1Password 7, and then follow the instructions here:

    Move your existing 1Password data to a 1Password account

    Make sure she is accepting the invitation to join your 1Password Families membership, rather than creating her own separate membership. When she follows the invite she'll have the opportunity to pick her own Master Password and will be given her Secret Key. You do not have to share your Master Password or Secret Key with her.
