Can't fill identities

I can't use 1Password X to fill identities on pages. Username and password works correctly, but when I encounter pages that ask for my identity (name, address, email) the 1Password icon does not appear in any field, and manually finding the identity then clicking "Autofill" does nothing.

@posix – Thanks for the report! Would you mind providing a website URL where you've noticed this issue? I'd like to do some testing on my end to see if I get the same results.

Thanks so much, @posix! I see what you're saying now. The 1Password X icon only appears in the email address field, however, clicking Autofill in the 1Password X pop-up causes the majority of fields to fill using the information in my Identity. When you click the Autofill button in the 1Password X pop-up, what happens?

    I confirm on my versions:
    Browser Chrome extension
    1Password X Beta 1.17.2
    And
    1Password 7 MAc 7.4.Beta-0(70400000)
I cant see autofill icons on some sites inputs fields(even on https://my.1password.com/signin), and most critical for me:
    http://localhost links(i am developer)
On previous beta all was fine

Hi Kaitlyn, I was using a keyboard shortcut that popped up a 1Password widget that I assumed was 1Password X. I now realise it is a 1Password v7 popup, and that's what won't autofill. The 1Password X plugin autofill does work. So, I think there are two issues here: 1Password v7 popup won't autofill, and the 1Password icon doesn't appear in form fields.

@Mithril – That's definitely strange that 1Password icons aren't showing in fields on https://my.1password.com/signin. Have you hidden the inline menu on that page? Go ahead and right click on the password field and select Show 1Password in the context menu. Does that cause a 1Password icon to appear inside the field?

@posix – I see! That's 1Password mini, a feature of 1Password for Mac. I was able to reproduce the issue, so I'll make sure it's on our developers' radar. For now, you can autofill using the 1Password X pop-up or inline menu.

@Mithril – Thank you for the screenshots. I'm wondering if the language has anything to do with it since that seems to be a variable between my system and yours. After doing some further testing on my end and changing my preferred language to Russian within my 1Password account, I was able to reproduce the issue. I've passed the report along to our developers. I really appreciate you letting us know.

For the 1Password icons not showing up on http://localhost, can you confirm that you're able to see the icons with the stable version of 1Password X installed?

    Sure
That is not problem in icons only, this new beta version extension fully not find any pass on localhost url
    This 1Password X Beta 1.17.2:

    Stable 1Password X 1.16.2
    Works nice

And on previous beta was all fine also. This problem starts from 1Password X Beta 1.17.2

@Mithril – Again, I appreciate the screenshots (as well as you blocking out your personal info). In your first screenshot with 1Password X 1.17.2, you have Favorites selected. In either stable or beta, that'll show items you have favorited. Could you switch that to Suggestions and let me know if your Logins appear?

@kaitlyn i will check tomorrow why i see favorites but not suggestions on new beta version, but at least, this is not right, correct? Will check tomorrow, what in suggestions tab on that beta

@Mithril – You have the ability to choose what 1Password opens to on the 1Password X settings page. You can choose between Favorites, Suggestions, or All Items, although Suggestions should be the default.

Thanks so much, @Mithril! That makes sense. Favorites is the fallback option if there are no suggestions found. I'll get this reported to our developers so they can investigate.

Hi @kaitlyn i Just seen, there was update to 1.17.3.beta in Browser Chrome extension. And i tested my previous problems.
Can confirm autofill and suggestions on http://localhost links was fixed!!! Thanks very much!!
    But about autofill on https://my.1password.com/signin
it show new problem, even on english version. When i click on 1password icon, it suggest me to generate new password and save it.
But there is already saved password, and if i change suggestion option to logins, it will show my login, and will fill.
So the problem is, it just not see saved login, and try generate new pass for me. I will attach screenshot

@Mithril – Thanks for the follow up. I'm glad you noticed we fixed the localhost issue you reported. :)

For the issue on https://my.1password.com, 1Password X is mistaking the form as a registration form and offering to fill a suggested password for you. We've got the issue reported to our developers, and they're actively working on a fix.

I am also having this same problem. 1Password works great to autofill userids and passwords, but it will not autofill my contact information. I cannot get the 1Password icon to show up in the form fields. I tried right click and Show 1Password, and nothing happens. When I've had this come up several times in other websites as I'm purchasing, the only field which would work is the email address. That's the only field the 1password icon pops up, and the only way to autofill contact info. For this transaction (https://www.glossier.com/new_checkout there is no email address field.

Hi @karamash! Thanks for chiming in. If you click the 1Password X icon in your browser toolbar, do you see your Identity item suggested there? If so, go ahead and click the Autofill button next to it and let me know if it fills for you.
