Setup code does not work in Dark Mode

Setup QR code for android does not work when scanning 1Password.com page in Dark Mode on desktop.
My reasoning is because the QR code algorithm requires a whitespace quiet zone surrounding the QR code's border. More can be found online "qr code quiet zone".
This is be confirmed by disabling Dark Mode.

Solution: Generate a white zone around the QR code.
