Share extension not working in Chrome

    I'm not sure if this is the same thing but when I use the 1Password option from the "Share" menu in Chrome on iOS 13.1.3, it locks up the whole browser, I get a "ghost" popup with nothing in it (see attachment)
    and I have to start again. The only option I then have is to restart Chrime and do it manually (copy and paste from 1Password app), or use Safari, where it works fine. Is this an issue caused by Chrome or maybe even Apple trying to force us to use Safari?

    Hi @alexmidd!

    I have split your comment into its own discussion since I think what you are reporting here is unrelated to the previous keyboard issue.

    If you are on iOS 13, is there a specific reason why you are using the old share extension? I recommend trying the AutoFill feature which we introduced in iOS 12 and see if that helps ;)

    @alexmidd: Some users have reported that updating to iOS 13.2 helped with that, and we also have some changes in beta which may as well.

    Hi, I didn't realise there was any other method of filling passwords than the "Share" option, that's the one I have always used. I don't remember being advised of another option. I will check your link, ag_ana, and see if that helps.

    Thanks

    OK, I think I have got myself confused and given you the wrong information. The "Share" option doesn't work at all, and from your post I am guessing that I should take 1Password out of the Share menu as this is now obsolete?

    The issue is actually with the Autofill option, which I assume is the little key that appears above the keyboard (the details in your link said it works in "apps and Safari", does that include Chrome?). This is when it locks up and I get the ghost popup.

    I assume brenty's reply is referring to that issue so I will try and update the version of iPadOS and if that doesn't work wait for any updates to the software that might fix it.

    Thanks.

    @alexmidd:

    Thank you for the clarification! Updating to the latest version of iOS might indeed help with this, so please give that a try ;)

    Hi

    I have completed the update and that seems to have done the trick. Thanks for your prompt advice on this. 🙂

    I spoke too soon. I've just tried it again and it's done it again. :(

    @alexmidd:

    Can you please confirm what version of 1Password you are currently using on this device, so we can test it here?

    Hi, sorry for the delay. It’s version 7.4.2.

    As I mentioned above, some users have reported that updating to iOS 13.2 helped with that, so I'd start there if you haven't already. Otherwise the next update of 1Password should help.
