I get the following error message: "The 1Password data is in use by another copy of 1Password."

    How many 1Password apps do you currently have inside your macOS Applications folder?

    Three; 1 Password 7, 7.2, and 7.3.

    Thank you for the confirmation. Having multiple apps installed at the same time can cause issues, and we recommend only using one to avoid the error message that you are seeing. Please remove the two apps that you are not using and keep a single one moving forward.
