iOS Chrome won't open 1Password app after selecting "Passwords" to auto-fill

Works fine in Safari, but with Chrome (iOS 13.1.3 - iPhone Xs), after I selecting "Passwords" the screen darkens a little bit and freezes; the 1Password app never appears and Chrome freezes up until I manually close and restart.
