Flashing 1Pwd icon in Firefox Tool bar?
Since installing 1Password 7.4 the icon is grayed out for about 3 seconds, then flashes dark for about second. IF I'm quick enough to click on it when it is dark, then I'm told to install the extension. I do that and it says the extension is installed, but I still have the flashing icon. I've restarted Firefox 68.2.0esr but that doesn't help. Any ideas?

Yes I did that several times as part of my troubleshooting before I posted, but it didn't work. However, I think I figured out what needed to be done. After I posted, I went to install Apple Security Update 2019-006. It took over 3 hours to download and at least a half-hour to finish installing. Part of the install process was a re-start of the iMac. When the install was completed and I launched Firefox again, the icon stayed dark and active, so I would insert a step between your #s 2 & 3: "Restart your computer" as that was the one thing I DIDN'T do when troubleshooting.

I'll send in a diagnostic report the next time this happens, but wanted to let everyone know the corruption that causes this for me is user level.
You can log out and log back in from the Apple menu to resolve this - no amount of quitting the apps themselves resolves this for me.
A reboot isn't needed in most cases, but can't hurt if you want to restart everything. Reproduced on 70.0.1 (64-bit) version of FireFox, 10.15.1 macOS, 1Password 7 Version 7.4.1 (70401001) Mac App Store
