Issue using QR scanner to set up 2-factor authentication

I'm in the process of enabling 2FA for my websites that support it, but I'm having trouble getting the QR code scanner in the 1Password desktop app for macOS to work. When I drag the scanner over the QR code the box is supposed to turn green, but it stays blue and nothing happens. I have to manually enter the secret key to complete the setup process. I've tried on several websites and it's always the same.

    Never mind, I realized I had to change my permissions to allow 1Password to record my screen; it works great now!
