Made some sort of change and not nothing autofills any browser
Using 1Password families, on Catalina latest version. Browser extension on Safari, Chrome, and Opera. Families has been working fine for a few months. A few days ago I got some sort of prompt from 1Password about making a preference change (don't remember what it was, I think had something to do with autofill) Now none of the extensions in my browsers will work. And, in the 1Password app, if I choose "open and autofill" I get no response. I'm thinking it's not a corruption issue or individual extension as it only happened after I made this change so I don't want to make things worse by taking more actions or reinstalling the application. Please advise.
1Password Version: V 7.3.2 (70302003) App Store
Extension Version: 7.4
OS Version: 10.15.1
Sync Type: 1Password cloud

I seem to be having a hard time posting the image. But the extension is NOT greyed out. I also uninstalled and reinstalled in Chrome/Opera to no avail.

Trying to attach the image just shows an upload URL and says comment must be moderated.

When I use the command it asks me to turn on the 1Password extension in Safari - its already installed.

Well, my issue is back again. I have however some screen shots that might resolve this. So Clicking the extension when I had a login page worked in all browsers again. Then, I got a message that asked me to "enable 1Password in Safari" that I enabled. Then, I was not able to login again. When I click the extension, nothing happens. This was in Safari. In Chrome, I got the message with a choice of 5 lines, as seen in my attachment. I quit Chrome and restarted, when I click the extension it asks me to "reload the page to use Chrome" which doesn't do anything.

No. I'm actually puzzled about seeing these messages, as previously I just installed the app and extensions and never had to activate them.

Concerned about something else. I got a message that 1Password administrators reset my password. Which I did, and now my user name for the boards has changed from "omoua" to "wiredin" Is "wiredin" some sort of name default? Because I never chose it.

Forget the above comment. I think when I put in my email to change the password, I entered an email I used for some board comments some time ago I've forgotten.

@wiredin: I'm sorry for the trouble and confusion. While it does sound like you signed into a different account, the password reset is a separate issue. Please see this announcement:
Forum password reset
Regarding the "Reload the page to use this extension", is that maybe coming from another, not 1Password? Also, make sure that if you're in Incognito Mode and trying to use it that you've allowed it to be used there in its settings.
I suspect that you have a different problem causing the extension's right-click menu to open when left-clicking it: that can happen when Native Messaging is hung up or otherwise being blocked. Normally I'd suggest Quitting 1Password Completely -- Command Control Option Q -- and then the browser before restarting both, but it sounds like you've already done that and something is preventing their processes from being restarted properly. In that case, please complete and browser and OS updates, and then restart your computer and make sure you have the current version of the 1Password desktop app installed as well. That should do the trick. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the comments, Brenty. No, I'm not in incognito mode. No, the message is not from another extension as 1Password is the only one I use. The message is specifically when I click the icon for the 1Password extension icon in the toolbar. Will try what you suggest and see what happens. Last time this was resolved, my computer did do some updates. I clicked the enable figuring the problem would present itself and help out some other users once the solution was figured out. What I am puzzled about is that 1Password worked fine when I installed the app and loaded the extension. I've never gotten these prompts before.
As for the forums, looks like I had an old account from 10 years ago and none of my accounts/passwords are the same which is why I use your product.

Yes, doing a restart seems to have worked, although as far as I can tell no updates were done.

@omoua: Yeah I haven't seen or heard of that with 1Password before, and I see and do a lot of weird stuff with 1Password during support and testing. ;) I'm glad that restarting helped. I'm not sure what could have gone wrong with Chrome to cause that, but we'll keep an eye out. Thanks for the update! :)
