Changed User Name Doesn't Prompt Update Opportunity

When I change my username on a website, I no longer get prompted to update the existing item in 1Password. It used to ask me if I wanted to update the current login item. Now I have to go in and manually update 1Password.

    Hi @Explorz!

    Can you please open 1Password Preferences > Browsers tab, and make sure that the option named Detect new usernames and passwords and offer to save them is enabled?

    Ahhh yes, I did do that already. I even toggled it off, quit the app, restarted and toggled it back on. It didn't make any difference.

    @Explorz:

    Is this happening on every website, with no exception, or are there specific websites where this is happening?

    No exceptions. Never asks. I just changed my email address that I use for online signups so I’m changing a lot of sites. It never prompts to update. It used to.

    @Explorz:

    Do you actually see the 1Password browser extension button in your Safari browser? You can make sure it is enabled by opening Safari Preferences > Extensions tab. Is 1Password in the list there, and is it enabled?

    It should look like this:

    Yep. Done. All my settings are correct. It used to work. Now it doesn’t. Probably an incompatibility with Catalina.

    @Explorz:

    I am also on Catalina and the Safari extension works for me, so this should definitely work. Please generate a diagnostics report from your Mac and send it to support+forum@agilebits.com so we can take a closer look at why this is happening to you.

    After you have sent the email, please feel free to post the ticket number you received so we can locate your message and get back to you as soon as possible.

    Looking forward to your message!
