Lock after computer is idle for ... does not allow me to set a longer time before it locks

I work on my iMac running Mojave 10.14.6 in my home office frequently for several hours. I want to increase the time before the 1Password requires me to input my master password since I access it often and use a different password for every login. However, no matter how many times I reset the number of minutes in the Preferences, I seem to have a very short time of disuse before I have to re-enter the master password. This is the opposite problem that other people seem to be having.

    Can you please clarify what you mean by "short time"?
