1Password not recognizing Chrome extension is installed

I've got 1Password installed on my 2017 Macbook Pro (running Catalina). It was working perfectly until the latest update, and now the standalone app doesn't recognize that I've got the Google Chrome extension installed. They work independently of each other, but the app keeps giving me the error to install the extension.

1Password Version: 7.4.1
Extension Version: 1.16.2
OS Version: MacOS 10.15.1
Sync Type: cloud

Thanks for the great screenshots and filling out the version information in your question. It looks like you've got 1Password X installed, which would be why the Mac application is indicating that you don't have a compatible extension installed. 1Password X's release version doesn't currently have support for the native Mac application. You would need the "(desktop app required)" 1Password extension in order to use the Mac app with Chrome. It can be installed from https://1password.com/downloads/mac/#browsers
