Autofill short cut only works with one browser

Using 1Password 7 with a standalone license.

When I use my customized autofill keyboard shortcut, it only works with the first browser I open when I start up the system.

Say when I start up, open Safari, and use the autofill shortcut - it works fine. The proper browser extension is opened and the appropriate login is suggested for the website I'm on.

However, when I open Firefox after, the autofill shortcut only opens 1Password Mini in my system menu bar. (Like how it works when your active window is a non-browser application.)

Hope this the information above was clear.

    Hi @sdjosjduhsd! Welcome to the forum!

    Have you installed a separate 1Password extension in your Firefox browser, or is Safari the only browser with the 1Password browser extension?

    @sdjosjduhsd:

    Both as in "both of the things that I wrote in my previous post are true", or did you mean that you see the 1Password extension in Safari and also in Firefox?

    Hi - both Safari and Firefox extensions are installed, in addition to system 1Password/1Password mini

    @sdjosjduhsd:

    Can you please tell us the version of the 1Password extension that you have installed in your Firefox browser. I wonder if you perhaps installed 1Password X there instead, which uses a different keyboard shortcut, and which would also explain why mini is opened for you instead of the browser extension.

    Hi - the version is 4.7.5.90. See also the attached image.

  • Thanks @sdjosjduhsd. I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)

    Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@agilebits.com.

    With your email please include:

    That way I can "connect the dots" when I see your diagnostics in our inbox.

    You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number.  Please post that number here so I can track down the diagnostics and ensure that this issue is dealt with quickly. :)

    Once I see the diagnostics I'll be able to better assist you. Thanks very much!
