Mac V6 working with iPhone v7?
So my wife has 1Password V6 on her MacBook, and for some reason her iPhone has v7 on it (auto update perhaps?). Now her MacBook updates are not showing up on her phone. Is there some trick to making them work together (using dropbox) or does she need to upgrade her license (not subscription) to V7 on her MacBook?

@tomb4201 , I run a similar, though not completely identical setup: Mac V6 + iOS devices on V7, but with WLAN sync mode. Works.
Since you indicated your setup is using Dropbox, you may find some interesting hints in this forum post, which is Mac V6, iOS device V7 + Dropbox setup.

Thanks for the pointer kai1pwd. Will see what we can do to clear it up, though I think that post is actually the reverse, where the mac is at v7 and the phone is still at v6, but the dual vault is likely her situation. As that poster said, not sure how one of his systems got to V7, but it is what it is... I am 'assuming' if we upgrade her mac version to v7 we can then merge the two vaults into the newer format.

Sigh, got pointed to this thread based on my wife having a similar problem. In her case, her phone has somehow gotten upgraded to V7, where her Macbook remains on V6, so now I suspect she has the two vault problem. I am 'thinking' that the right strategy is to just upgrade her Macbook to V7, and do the 'merge', but wanted to validate that before we take any action... Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Hi @tomb4201!

Yes, 1Password 7 on iOS was a free upgrade for everyone. Sync can definitely work between 1Password 6 on the Mac and 1Password 7 on iOS though, so using two different versions won't be a problem.
now I suspect she has the two vault problem.
Is she actually seeing two vaults in the 1Password app?
