What is the difference in adding a regular field in 1Password vs adding to Saved Form details

It's confusing to have two different areas. If it doesn't fill out a form, it could just be added to notes. What is the point of having the structured data that isn't used to fill forms.

    Having structure can be useful in many cases. And it also allows you to store additional information related to that item, such as security questions and answers, one time passwords for 2FA, or any additional data that you want to have easily available. But I agree, additional fields are not mandatory, so if they are not useful to you, you can just save everything in the notes field ;)
