Possible new family membership
I'm currently testing and evaluating 1Password. I see mention of paying directly or through an apple subscription. Is one way better than the other? Why would I choose one over the other?

Generally paying directly is more flexible. A number of promos we may offer are only available with direct billing, though there are some promos we offer exclusively through various 3rd party billing options as well. It also allows you to utilize 1Password gift cards, which may be something to look into. The $125 gift card is currently on sale for $99.

When paying through 3rd party billing it isn't possible to exceed the 5-person limit included with a 1Password Families plan. With direct billing you can, and the billing adjusts accordingly.
