1password does not stay open on ipad

I have ipassword 7 installed on my ipad pro ios 13.13. I keep having to put in my master password every time I another app or change to another screen even if I just entered the master pw. I tried using the fingerprint setting instead of master pw but couldn't get it to work. (I did switch on the fingerprint setting and followed instructions.)

Is there a way to keep 1 pw open for a longer time like I do on my Imac

    Yes, you can do this inside the 1Password for iOS app, under Settings > Security. In there, please make sure that the option Lock on Exit is disabled, and you can choose the Auto-Lock time the way you prefer ;)
