Feature Request: Add a "Restore Clipboard" button to the auto-copy 2FA notification?
Hey 1Password people,
Forgive me if this has been asked already, but my searches of the forum haven't turned up anything.
1P for Mac has a great feature where it copies 2FA passwords automatically when auto-logging into sites, and after a set period of time it restores the prior clipboard contents. I've been wondering whether it would be valuable to add a "Restore Clipboard" button to the system notification informing users about this, in the event they want their clipboard contents restored immediately.

Hi @lepinski!
Thank you for sharing this idea with us! I have a question for you to make sure I don't misunderstand your suggestion. You wrote:
in the event they want their clipboard contents restored immediately.
Do you mean "immediately after the code has been copied" (even before it was used), or "as soon as it has been pasted"?

Hey @ag_ana,
Sure – happy to elaborate.
In cases where I'm logging into a site which where my account has 2FA, but I'm not prompted for my 2FA code (which happens surprisingly often), I'd love to be able to click something on the notification to restore my prior clipboard contents immediately, rather than waiting for it to happen.

Thank you for the clarification @lepinski! I wonder if tweaking the clipboard settings in 1Password will help you even without this additional feature that you are requesting. If you open 1Password Preferences > Security tab, you can set after how many seconds the clipboard clears. If you set this value quite low (perhaps around 10 seconds), I am hoping it will help you with this already.
