Hello. The 1Password extension is no longer working for me.
The 1Password extension (for auto-filling) is no longer working for me. I use Safari, but I downloaded Chrome to see if the Chrome 1password extension would work and it doesn't. Also, I can no longer edit any entries such as if I change my password. It says "Read-Only". Are these two issues related to the fact that I have the non-subscription version of 1password? I used to be able to edit and auto-filling always worked before.

Hi @gillianlyons! Welcome to the forum!
Also, I can no longer edit any entries such as if I change my password. It says "Read-Only".
This is probably the reason why you are seeing this behavior. Have you purchased a license for 1Password 7 already? Without a valid license for 1Password 7, the app will become read-only, and autofill will not work, which are exactly the two things that you are seeing.

Okay, thanks. That is what I suspected. I bought 1password in 2014 and those two things were working fine until just recently. I guess I will have to get a monthly subscription now.

The monthly subscription is the recommended option because of its ease of use and because of all the additional features that come with it. But regardless of whether you choose the subscription or the license purchase, 1Password 7 is a paid upgrade, so you will have to choose one of the two if you want to use the latest version.
If you want to continue using the version you purchased, you need to make sure you download the older version of 1Password instead, as your license will be valid against that version only.

Hi. I downloaded an older version of 1Password (version 6.8.9). I did not know that the Safari extension for that version will no longer work, so again, if I want to have autofill, I will need to use version 7 and pay a monthly fee. Now I have both 1Password 6 and 1Password 7 on my computer. Can I uninstall 1Password 6, and if so, how do I do it?

You can drag the 1Password 6 app to the Trash, like any other Mac app ;)
