2FA occasionally does not work

I have 1password on 2 mac laptops.
Today I tried to log into 3 different websites that require 2FA. In all 3 cases the 2FA worked on one laptop but not the other.
Both computers are attempting to log in from the same location.

    The commonest reason 2FA does not work is that the time on your computer is slightly off. The 2FA code is generated according to the current time, and changes about every thirty seconds. So a time that's drifted will generate the wrong code.

    I've had this once or twice, and solved it by setting the time to manual, and then resetting it to automatic. There are other ways of forcing the time to resynchronise.

    @Danco is correct. I would also think the time has drifted. Give that toggle of the time settings a try. :)
