1password X and Firefox containers

I'm it sure if this is the right forum for bug reports. Hopefully I can make myself understood.

1passwordX doesn't use the container of the currently focused tab when logging on a website directly from 1password.

Steps to reproduce:

  • In Firefox install Multi-Account Containers add-on, or something similar
  • Open a new tab in a container other than the default
  • Open 1PasswordX, search for a website and click "Go"
    1PasswordX will close the current tab and open a new one, but the new one is opened in the default container instead of the one selected.

1Password Version: 7.3.2
Extension Version: 1.17.0
OS Version: MacOS 10.15.2
Sync Type: Not Provided

    Hey @bgdnlp! You're in the right place. :smile: Thanks for reporting this. As it turns out, this is a known issue. I'm not too sure if this is something we can fix on our end (I'm not saying it isn't — I really don't know), but I'm letting our development team know about it and adding you to the list of affected users. I'm sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime; containers are cool, so I hope we can support this in the future.
