Transfer ownership
My stepfather bought a family account and added a vault for me. He no longer wants to use 1Password, but has already paid for a year subscription. He wants to just give it all to me. How do I as a family member become a family owner?

Hi @jobiegermano! Welcome to the forum!
If your stepfather is the Owner of the 1Password Families account, he can upgrade your permissions, making you an Owner too. He needs to do it from his People menu on 1Password.com, you cannot upgrade your permissions by yourself without the approval of the existing Owner.

Once you are an Owner, you have the permissions to remove his Owner privileges yourself too ;)
