Just letting Agilebits know, TP Link Tether App misbehaves when Mobile Safari AutoFill is used to call 1Password. It was not as bad with iOS 13 (iPhone SE) as it was with iPadOS 13.

The TP Link Tether App from the iPad, is vertical only, cannot be rotated. By default, the Master Password lock screen keyboard overlaps and cannot be typed with every time.

Hmmm. After I reset the TP Link device and updated firmware, it's OK now. An issue remains which is the web management page is flagged as not secure. 192.168.x.xxx or www.tplinkrepeater.net. It's a common occurrence.

Before the update, I tried over 10 times and all of them were what the Original post described.

Is the web management page address starting with "http", without the "s"? This would explain why you are seeing that warning.

    Hi

Yes, all of them are http, not https from what I have noticed. E.g. 192.168.1.1. or a web named equivalent like tplinkrepeater.net or tplinkwifi.net/.

  • That would be why, then. https is secure. http is not.

Thanks. I understand and I noticed almost all web management consoles are this way? Watchtower warns about it when the login is saved.

Yes, Watchtower warns you about it because you are using the non secure version. When the URL starts with "https", the Watchtower warning will disappear.
