I installed the 1PW Firefox browser extension today, but the icon is grayed-out.
When I restart Firefox (ver. 71.0), I get a small pop-up message stating "1Password can't verify the identity of your web browser".
Firefox is located in my Applications folder, and is up to date.
1Password Version: 7.4.1 (for Mac)
Extension Version: 4.7.5.90
OS Version: OS X 10.14.6

Yes, I just installed the extension yesterday. I quit and relaunched Firefox quite a few times; the extension has never worked.

Can you please try going through all of the suggestions in this support article and see if they help?

Thanks, I did most of these steps yesterday, and also restarted the computer, which didn't help. I think the issue lies with installing the browser add-on. It is not available from the Firefox "Add-on Store," and Mozilla has apparently changed the functionality of side loading add-ons. Some add-ons are disabled by the browser after installation. Is there a Firefox specialist at Agilebits that can assist me with this issue?

I have managed to install the Firefox extension from this page without issues. Is that where you are trying to install from?

Yes, I downloaded it from the recommended page and installed it following the Firefox prompts. The extension icon appeared (grayed-out) in the Firefox toolbar, but after browser restart, the icon has disappeared. I have emailed you a diagnostics report as requested [#MKC-89698-781].
