Markdown rendering issue: Linebreaks in verbatim

Hi

I expect the following verbatim markdown to render as three lines:

Actual behaviour: The linebreak after line 2 is collapsed because of the ending tag symbol:

This seems like a bug since verbatim is supposed to be verbatim.

    Thank you for reporting this. Our developers are aware of a bug in the markdown when using verbatim, so I will pass them your screenshots ;)
