1password extension not working on new edge chromium browser

Hi, 1password extension is not working on newly released stable version of edge chromium on mac. I downloaded the extension via google chrome website. I also do have a 1password 7 app installed and working on my mac.
1passwordx extension works though. Is there any timeline to include edge chromium extension native support for 1password extension?

    As a first step, can you please update 1Password to version 7.4.1, and see if that helps?
