Why di I need a subscription after 2 yrs? Had just used a Master Password all along.

iPhone problems, was factory reset and had to re-download all my apps including i Password. I only use a master password on my iPad and was the same for my iPhone. Now it wants me to have a subscription. Why?

    Now it wants me to have a subscription.

    1Password will only ask you for an active subscription if you have chosen the 1Password.com option in the first window you see after installing the app. If you don't want one (or don't have one), you need to select where your data is stored instead, such as iCloud or Dropbox, which are also options in that first window.
