Once I have set up strong passwords using 1 Password, how often should I change them?

Should I be changing passwords regularly after a certain period of time, or are the passwords that are generated by the program strong enough without changes? Is it necessary to change user names?

    Hi @jazzman!

    If your passwords are strong, and you don't have reasons to believe they might have been compromised, it is not necessary to change them regularly. Of course it doesn't hurt if you do, so please feel free to do that if you prefer, but you shouldn't feel like it's mandatory to change passwords or usernames regularly.

    Thank you for the prompt response. The reason I asked is that some of my passwords are old, and I just wondered if I was taking too much risk. I think you clarified the issue for me nicely. Thanks much.
