I had to uninstall the most recent version and install 7.2.6 in order rename the Private vault to "Private" (see CAR-87984-436). No problem. However, I cannot apply the software updates that follow 7.2.6 (screenshot attached). I have alerted 1PW support by email but thought I could also get the solution by posting here.

I upgraded to the Family Plan last week and that is when I discovered the Private vault name issue.

    @jmb679,

    This is correct, due to a bug between 7.0 through 7.4.1 that exhibited itself on 10.15, we are going to be forcing a manual install of an unaffected version. The easiest way to prevent people from getting into that particular situation on 10.15 was to temporarily suspend offering updates, when we turn updates for 10.15 users back on they will see a message directing them to install manually from https://1password.com/downloads.

    So, just to be clear, I am on 1Password 7 for Mac (v 7.2.6) and I should wait for a message to download updates? Am I a "10.15" user? Incidentally, what is the latest version of 1Password for Mac, which is the version that I uninstalled?

    10.15 = October 15th?

    @jmb679

    10.15 = macOS 10.15 Catalina.

    The current version for Mac is 7.4.2, as of this writing. I will respond to your ticket momentarily. Correction looks like Preet is already replying to you.

    Ah, Catalina. I should know this. Yes, I just got an email from Preet. Thanks.

    I am back to 7.4.2. All is good. Close this one.
