update for 1Password received thru Mac Book Pro will not download

Received a message that the update or 1Password 7 couldn't be completed on account being unable to close 1Password 7. Not true. I closed it. Help help!!

    It sounds as if the mini process is running in the menubar, prohibiting the update.

    1. Open and then quit 1Password completely using ⌘⌥⌃Q (Command Option Control Q)
    2. Restart 1Password and let us know if the issue persists.
