Touch ID stopped working for 1P

It worked fine before, but suddenly the option to enable Touch ID in the 1P prefs is dim and can't be selected. How do I restore TouchID?

    Is Touch ID enabled in your macOS preferences?

    Yes, of course. TouchID works for the Mac, and USED to work for 1P. But now the 1P TouchID pref is dim.

    Thank you @Jeff! If you confirm that Touch ID is still working to unlock your Mac, can you try enrolling a new finger and see if the Touch ID option becomes available again in the 1Password settings?

    That fixed it! Adding a second fingerprint activated the 1P TouchID perf.
