When I was automatically upgraded to that one password seven everything is in read-only and I can't edit my passwords
I'm not interested in a subscription which contains far more features than I care to use
what can I do to solve this problem

    Hi @dzshaw10093! Welcome to the forum!

    1Password 7 is a paid upgrade, so it requires either a subscription or a new license to activate the app, otherwise it will be read-only. Since you mentioned that you are not interested in a subscription, have you purchased a license for 1Password 7 and applied it to the app already?
