Does 1Password Android app support U2F ?

Wanted to check if 1Password android app supports U2F so that U2F security keys can be used.

I check old threads which mentioned 2FA can be used but OTP mechanism is used.

    @peri thanks for you reply. However the article does not specifically mention if android app uses U2F hence my question.

    @peri is there a way to enable 2 factor auth and not use authenticator app as the backup but use only security key as the second factor ?

    This is currently not possible: the authenticator app will be used as the backup if you enable Two-Factor Authentication.
