1Password not working with sites that use Healthsafe ID.

Two sites I access use Healthsafe ID to manage logons. I use the 1Password browser extension to populate the user/password in the Healthsafe ID logon box, and each time I get the same error message, "The username/email and password combination entered does not match our records." The only way I can log in is to reset the password each time, and then copy/paste the password in rather than use the 1Password browser extension. Error occurs with both Safari and Chrome. Is anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?

  • Hi @arasgi00! I'm sorry you're having some trouble with this site. It's possible they're doing something to prevent password managers from working somehow, but I do have another hunch I'd like to look into first. Is there a publicly accessible URL you can share with me? I won't be able to test actually logging in, but I want to see if there is a maximum length for the password field. It's possible that pasting the password in is truncating what's stored in 1Password appropriately for the site, while autofill shoves the whole thing in, so I'd like to inspect the page and see if I can find anything out.

    Something wrong with this thread. Real slow to display after being selected and then won't show it's been read when screen/section/topics refreshed.

    Update: belay that last, it DOES refresh as read. Still very slow to display.
