Trying to install 1Password extension on Firefox not working

When I try to install the 1Password extension in Firefox (v74) I get the following message:

"1Password extension (desktop app required) could not be installed because Firefox cannot modify the needed file." I have the desktop app installed, and it is working fine. Also, the extension for Chrome is installed and working fine.

1Password Version: 7.4.3
Extension Version: Trying to install the most recent one
OS Version: macOS 10.14.6
Sync Type: iCloud

    Hi @dkclifton! Welcome to the forum!

    Is 1Password the only extension where this is happening? I wonder if completely quitting Firefox with Cmd+Q and launching it again will help here.

    I reinstalled Firefox and that solved the problem.

    I'm sorry you had to go through a reinstall of Firefox. But it's good you're up and going again.
