Cannot access my passwords in 1Password 7 URGENT

I've just purchased an upgrade to 1Password 7 after years of using previous versions. App will not access the 1Password 6 file. I've contacted customer support but only received a generic email encouraging me to purchase 1Password 7 (I already have!).
