7.4.3 - Firefox extension not working after upgrade
Just manually installed 7.4.3 on Catalin 10.15.4 - at that point it asked me to install the extension (even though it was already installed). After re-running through the installation procedure, the icon in the firefox toolbar is constantly blinking, and it refuses to autofill anything, main app just tells me I need to install the extension. This was working fine prior to upgrading 1password to 7.4.3 so I'm going to say it's a regression.
Extension is at version: 4.7.5.90
1Password is at: 7.4.3
Firefox: 74.0
1Password Version: 7.4.3
Extension Version: 4.7.5.90
OS Version: OSX 10.15.4
Sync Type: Dropbox

Similar problem the extension on Brave.

This despite reinstallation. The icon appears on the toolbar, but clicking it gives a pulldown menu with options for settings, and not the extension itself.

I was experiencing this as well, I reinstalled using the 1Password X extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1password-x-password-manager/?src=search) seems the original extension no longer worked.

Solution:
I had the same problem with all browsers.- Open 1 Password desktop app
- Go to top menu bar : Help > Troubleshooting > Restart 1Password Extension helper
That it! :)

Sorry but it didn't solve the problem for me. On Firefox I somewhat solved installing 1PasswordX and I can do the same on chrome. But on Safari I still have the problem. After restarting extension helper if I click on 1password icon in safari it opens (in the background) the desktop app but nothing else. Same problem if I try contextual menu by right clicking on a form input field.

Thanks! restarting my Mac solved the problem... shame on me not trying that simple step! :)

This worked ^^. None of the other options (restarted OSX, restarting the extension helper, reinstalling extensions, etc) did anything. Odd that worked when restarting didn't, but I'll take the win.
Thanks!
