Followed the instructions and its installed the wrong version.

Purchased 1Password 7.0 now its not registered after following the instructions to do an install that popped up on the Mac.

    The fix is to download the previous version from the downloads page.

    I would expect to see that prompt if you updated to the Mac App Store version because it doesn't support licenses. Can you confirm that you saw that message after installing an update downloaded directly from us?

    I didn't realise it had installed the non licensed version and tried to install the license.

    The annoying thing is if I had the licensed version why did it tell me to install a non licensed version.

    I'm not sure why you would have the Mac App Store version. Our updater will only offer the version from us. We don't have any control over the Mac App Store. That store pushes out updates differently from us.
