Can I use MFA for the 1Password app on Mac OS X, rather than having to enter the master password?

I have a secure master password, and it's a pain to enter. As a secure alternative, could I use MFA to secure access to the app instead?

Thanks,
Phil

    Hi @philstubbington

MFA is not a replacement for a strong Master Password. They protect against entirely different threats. MFA helps prevent someone shoulder surfing your Master Password from being able to access your 1Password data on a different (e.g. their) device. Your Master Password protects you against someone who has access to the encrypted data (e.g. on your device). If you're finding your Master Password difficult to type you may want to choose a words based passphrase. We have some tips that my help here:

    Thanks!

Thanks Ben. Word based is definitely the way to go for me I think :)
