Browser extension asking me to sign in; I use the licensed version instead (I have no account)

I don't have a 1Password account because I use is the licensed version. I installed the Chrome browser extension. It won't function until I sign in to my 1Password account, which I don't have. How do I activate this extension?

    Never mind! I just realized I had an old 1Password X extension installed at the same time. I removed it, restarted Chrome, and now the regular extension is working. Thanks!

    how can you get an older browser extension instead of it requesting for a subscription? Is there a link? I am in the same boat.

    1Password X is membership only. The other browser extension on our downloads page is for standalone customers.
