Password not working on Mac after upgrade

Every time I upgrade 1Password on my Mac, my master password does not work. What do I do please? I upgraded to the latest version. I have my Emergency Kit with my Master Password but it doesn't work.

Do you know if you have a Primary vault on this install? If you have one, please try any other Master Passwords you may have used. A membership Master Password had a minimum set of requirements that you needed to meet.

I have tried 4 different passwords that I have recorded on my Emergency Kits. I have no idea if I have a primary vault or not. Looks like I have two licenses and I can only get into the app on my iPhone but not that on my Mac. I use the one on my Mac more and would like to have them both the same.

May I ask: how do you normally resolve the problem after every update?

I haven't!!!! Luckily I remember most passwords that I need and I have been resetting my passwords whenever I have 'forgotten'. I have also used another program in the interim but want to use 1Password because most of my important passwords and security things are contained there.
