I had 1Password installed; then one day the icon/extension stopped working (click on it and nothing happens). I went to the Safari Extensions panel in Safari's preferences, unchecked the 1Password extension, and now when I click on it to re-enable it, nothing happens (no check mark in the box).

1Password Version: 7.4.4
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: 10.15.4
Sync Type: Not Provided
Referrer: forum-search:I see 1Password on the extensions list in Safari, but when I click on the box, nothing happens.

It sounds like something is holding onto an old version of the extension. Can you try the following?

    Please try the following:

    1. Quit Safari and any other open web browsers.

    2. Open and then quit 1Password completely.

    • Hold down the Control and Option keys on your keyboard and choose 1Password > Quit 1Password Completely from the menu bar.
    1. Restart the Mac.

    2. Open 1Password and unlock.

    3. Open the browser(s).

    4. Verify that you're able to use the extension to fill logins.
